As a Kindermusik Educator, this has to be one of the most common question I get asked from parents, especially when their child reaches pre-school and Kindy age. While there are always exceptions, in general, my suggestion to parents is to wait until their child is at least 5 or 6 years old. If you're too old go as a camper, I suggest going as a volunteer like I did. Having followed GSCA for a while now I decided to get involved. The training they provided for the staff prior to campers arriving was one of the highlights for me. When they create that sense of a family before anyone is on site, I think thats why they make the change in kids that they do. The campers are cared for in such a way that they can see their full potential. And the debriefing after the activities is what makes the learning set in for life. I wish I could have gone as a kid, but I got the next best thing. Wouldn't change it for the world.

I've been to this camp and it was mint. At first it wasn't because I didn't know anyone but once i was with blue team and my tl's we got to know each other. The food is one of the best things and going back for extras. i liked odad as well when we were hut building. 15/10

Green SuperCamp, helped our daughter step out of her comfort zone. We knew it was going to be a big step for sending her away. But when we talked to their staff on the phone before hand they assured us that the facilitators and team were more than equipped to support our daughter. Half way through the camp I think we were still worried about her and she had totally forgotten about us an embraced the camp. She came back with the biggest smile and a new sense of self worth. Endless gratitude for the team!
