    Great dance school, awesome teacher.

    28-11-2016 by Ange

My girls have been coming to Hughes Dance School for 5 years now, my youngest was just 3 when she started. They both love coming to this dance school, and especially love Miss Shelby. She is great with the kids, they all have fun and enjoy it but like all schools, they are expected to behave, listen and follow instructions. My girls have tried all the genres that Miss Shelby teaches and they are keen to continue with all of them!! What I love about this dance school is that it's not as full on as some are, but it's still extremely professional in how it's all run, taught and managed. The end of year concert is fantastic!

Answer from Hughes Dance Co - COMO & APPLECROSS on 29-11-2016:
Thank you for your comment. Shelby loves teaching and has a wonderful re pour with all the students. She is very professional and produces some extremely talented students.

    Absolutely disgusted, stay away!!

    29-04-2016 by Trish

I enrolled my daughters in Hughes "dance school" and the instructor Shelby was very rude! Within 10 minutes she'd made my kids cry (it was the youngest one's birthday too), was very unfriendly and rude, and not encouraging at all. Definitely in the wrong career. I've seen many dance schools and this one is the absolute worst!

Answer from Hughes Dance Co - COMO & APPLECROSS on 28-11-2016:
I have already responded to Trish for her unfair comments and won't waste my time here. I have many very happy and content children and parents who have been with us for many years so I suggest you come and have a look for yourself before you take a negative comment as gospel. thank you Swanna

I used this business for a small at home party for my friends 50th. We hired tables, chairs, table cloths and glasses. Everything arrived on time, and everything was in good condition and was clean and ready to be used. It was easy to organise (the whole catalogue can be printed off from the website) I just sent an email with a list of everything i'd chosen from the catalogue. I would recommend this business

I contacted my local leisure center and was told no one was available at the time to teach me how to swim, left my contact details and never heard from them.I went online and rang 2 other places before I finally found someone willing to help.Stacy was the first person I contacted who sounded like she actually cared and referred me to Wendy and together I achieved my goal in less time than I thought possible. I will be forever grateful for the help of these ladies and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to learn how to swim.Their knowledge, compassion and communication skills has saved me from potentially loosing my dream job.

Ran by children take half anhour to bring out food or they just forget.. the place is never clean and its expensive compared to the decent play centres ive been to..

We refer to it as kidz hell

    16-07-2014 by Katie

A bit extreme I know, but we came in summer and the air conditioners weren't working. That's understandable - things stop working from time to time. However, the man working there was constructing oscilating fans in the cafe area. He got up to serve a customer and left several tools and screws, screwdrivers etc on the floor in front of the ice cream fridge (clearly a place that will attract little children). Two kids came up and started playing with the tools so I had to take them off them. The place STUNK, was poorly maintained, staff had a bad attitude, understaffed, expensive... TERRIBLE!

    Horrible

    27-05-2014 by Jodie

I went to this centre a few weeks ago and it was just gross. I waited at the door to pay my entry fee for around 15 minutes with a screaming toddler in the pram keen for a play. Once inside the equipment was dirty and held together with tape. I took a look around and figured the standards for the centre were lax and it probably wasn't being cleaned properly. Pair that with snotty, unsupervised kids drooling on toys and I grabbed my little guy and left. Will never go back. Gross.
