Burnelee Excursions on Horseback

Burnelee has been a fantastic experience we enjoyed it thoroughly

Great Trail Riding Place

11-01-2014

As a beginner we had a great experience at Burnelee and found the leaders looked after us well. The scenery was spectacular better than just plodding around an arena or a paddock going the same way every time.

Horrible

28-03-2013

Worst experience of my life. The horses are dangerous and untrained the owners are not trained to help inexperienced or beginner riders. There is little to no first aid if and when an accident happens. My horse bolted leaving me hospitalised for two nights after. Not even a refund given. 5 mins into the ride the leader expected the whole group to canter with the horses, this is where my partner almost fell off the first time. There is no mention of how to canter on a horse at the start and no instructions at all given before you start. I would not recommend this for non experienced riders or beginners at all.

Best Little Aths club in the Territory

11-09-2014

My Kids have been attending Ginninderra at Charnwood Oval for a number of seasons. The relaxed, friendly, supportive and non-competitive feel is refreshing. We had tried other local clubs in the past and the experience wasn't the best. My girls enjoy not only the new friends they have made, but also the well organised events and the fantastic facilities. The committee are all very dedicated people. One of the reasons that we chose the Tigers was that they offered a Tiny Tots program for Under 4s. This meant the whole family could enjoy Saturday mornings. What's really good is how fast the morning goes with each age group doing 5 events in an hour long session. They even break-up the groups so there's no queues between events. The coaches are excellent. They provide junior coaching on a Saturday morning at each event and professional senior coaching on a Tuesday. I really recommend the Ginninderra Tigers. If we hadn't found them our kids may be doing other things over summer instead of being outside and running around.
