Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite. Beardius is a wize wizard, several millenia old, but he ages very slowly. All wizards swear an oath to only use their powers for good and only when absolutely necessary as excessive use of magic can corrupt the soul and turn a wizard evil. They are also not supposed to expose their powers to mortal people. This Magi started to use his powers as a cheap form of entertainment, blowing people's minds a birthday parties and other special events. He grew too overconfident and bold in his exposure of magic and eventually got caught and was expelled from the wizard community. Beardius was also forced to shave off his beard, the source of a wizard's power. The ex-wizard had no other skills but was determined to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional entertainer, he started to learn sleight of hand and illusions and eventually started busking as a street magician and doing kids birthday parties. Now he is putting on a ticketed show for about 50 minutes. It is a surreal, high tech, cutting edge and farcical magical experience with everyday objects. If you have seen this magician perform before, there will be all brand new material, the act will be almost totally different from last year. The event will take place on four consecutive Sundays between 6-7pm at Elevate Studios in Fivedock, starting from the 28th of June.

Registrations are now open for our 2020 Winter Competition What are the ages? We have 3 main age groups that participate in netball at Greenlees: 1. NetSetGo! This program is for children aged between 5 and 7 years old. It is a nationally developed program to introduce kids to netball. There are no competition games and the focus is on developing skills, making friends and having fun. 2. Modified Modified players are aged 8-9 years old and take part in a modified program. Games take place on grass courts and some of the rules are changed to make it easier for the players to take part and learn the game. There is no scoring. 3. Juniors, Cadets and Seniors Juniors (10 - 15 years), Cadets (16's & 17's combined) and Seniors (18 years and up) all play competition games each week. There are multiple divisions in each age group to ensure team plays in an appropriate grade. When do you play? Games are held on Saturdays at Cintra Park Netball Courts, as part of the Inner West Association competition. Our Modified and Junior teams play in the mornings, while our Cadets and Seniors play in the afternoons. This year, games start on Saturday, 28th March. We have breaks for the long weekend and school holidays. Game times will not be made available by the Association until after teams have been submitted and grading completed, so unfortunately we are unable to be more specific about playing times. Any other questions? Please get in touch. We'd love to hear from you and help answer anything we may not have covered here. As all of our admin are volunteers, it may take us a little while to get back to you at busier times, but we will always try to answer all questions.
