The aim of our program is to train and develop players who want to elevate their Basketball skills. Our qualified coaches will train players in our intensive skills program and have them play against each other in a tournament-style environment. Mini Hoops is a FUN and non-competitive introduction to the great game of Basketball and players will develop fundamental skills such as passing, catching and shooting which will be critical elements of the game as they progress through the age groups. This program is suited for kids 4.5 to 7 years of age.

Basketball Development League is a development program for all young players who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball. It is designed as an effective pathway to develop individual skills and enhance teamwork in a fun and safe learning environment.

Hookin2Hockey is Hockey Australia’s official junior entry program, designed to teach boys and girls (ages 12 and under) the fundamental skills of field hockey in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. Hills Hockey is offering a 10-week Hookin2Hockey program at Gables Hockey Complex during Term 3. WHO: Boys and Girls aged 5 years to 12 years WHEN: Every Monday from 20 July 2026 to 21 September 2026 ~ 6pm - 7pm WHERE: The Gables Hockey Complex, Fontana Drive, Gables NSW 2765 WHAT TO BRING: Equipment is provided. However, we have two core beliefs that we take into every session. Firstly, we believe in something we call “Play not Push”. It means teaching football in a fun, pressure-free environment. We want to give children a positive introduction to sport as a whole, not just football, so they’re more likely to stay healthy and active throughout their lives. Secondly, we believe football can be educational. Coached in the right way it can stimulate imagination and aid early development skills such as learning colours and numbers, following instructions and playing as a team.

Our karate classes run during school terms (yes, we understand that parents want a break from driving to sports ????). We have been training at the Menai Indoor Sports Centre since it opened in 2004. Realising the importance of students training with those of a similar age, our classes are grouped as 4-7's, 8-12's, teens + adults and a Saturday family class, so that our syllabus can be delivered in an age accessible manner. New students to karate, and those who have tried different styles or arts, are very welcome to trial with Ishinryu.

Magic Academy The Magic Academy Program is designed for primary school children who are not quite ready to join a team. Magic Academy kids will learn the fundamental skills of basketball through warm up games, skill activities and modified game play, all delivered by our accredited coaches.
