SongLab is designed for students aged 13 to 17 who love music and want to learn to write their own songs. No prior songwriting experience is required, but it is ideal if students have at least 1 year experience on their chosen instrument or voice. More experienced students who have already experimented with songwriting can take their skills to the next level. Our unique building block approach makes songwriting simple and approachable for all skill levels, by breaking it into easy-to-follow steps. From crafting melodies and lyrics to hands-on production and performance, the process is interactive and fun, ensuring creativity is within reach for every student!

Music is so much more than just playing an instrument. The music skills of listening, understanding, creating and enjoying music play a key role in a child’s development and should be experienced by all children. Using action songs, body percussion, story-telling and guided listening activities, our teacher will engage your child in a musical world that can lead to a life enriched by music. Term starts Saturday 1st August or Wednesday 5th August, and will run for 8 weeks. Open to students aged 3-10, the Kids at the Con classes serve as a fantastic introduction to music class where students are engaged and are free to explore their musical creativity in a welcoming and non-competitive environment. No prior experience necessary!
