Manuka Oval's rich and diverse history has proved integral in its continuous use as a sporting venue. With a seating capacity of 13,550, the venue remains the premier site for cricket and AFL events in Canberra. Manuka Oval hosts many local and national AFL matches, as well as local cricket and the famous PM's XI. Manuka Oval is just 10 minutes from Parliament House and the airport, with plenty of on-site parking.

2012 Kookaburra Cup

There is no other junior pre season crickeet tournament like the Kookaburra Cup. The tournament has seen teams from Queensland, Victora and New South Wales take on the best junior teams from the ACT.

The Katoomba Cricket Club was established circa 1888. It has grown into a strong, community-based sporting organisation which fields junior and seniors sides in the Blue Mountains Cricket Association. Coleman Oval is a turf cricket oval on in the picturesque north-western corner of Parramatta Park. Parking, toilets and excellent playground near by. This Oval is popular for sports groups and medium sized events. The cricket wicket is available for hire. There is ample shade and parking and the Coleman toilets are close by. There are no barbeques in this area.
