Join us on in our rainforest garden as we gather to celebrate the season of Winter and explore all that the earth has to offer. For children 0-6 accompanied by an adult. Our weekly Little Explorers Nature Playgroup program which focuses on sensory nature play, nature themed art and craft activities, storytelling, songs, games, unstructured play and plenty of opportunities to build gross motor skills through climbing, balancing and movement. There is a different theme each week and a gentle rhythm guides our day. We aim to keep our sessions child-led, interest-based, experiential and in tune with the rhythms of the season. Simply put, there is no right or wrong way here and the learning is all in the process! We allow children the time, space and freedom to learn, explore and experiment at their own pace. Some of the activities include mud play, nature art and crafts, earth painting, nature stamping, creating with clay, gardening, sewing, baking, water and ice play, hammering and exploring in nature. Our playgroups allow parents to disconnect from their busy lives and re-connect with their child in nature - this is a wonderful time for you to sit back and enjoy watching your child play, while connecting to a community of like-minded parents who are supportive and welcoming. WHAT TO BRING This is an all weather outdoor playgroup so make sure you bring appropriate weather protection and clothing. While we are lucky to have a sheltered area available, we ask you to bring along wet weather gear - raincoats, gum boots, rain pants - a change of clothes (your child will get dirty!) a and a brimmed hat on sunny days. Playgroup will only be cancelled in the event of extreme weather. ​Please also bring with you water and a piece of fruit to share. Every Monday during school term, 9:30 - 11:30 am.

Go4Fun is a FREE healthy lifestyle program run by NSW Health for children aged 7-13 years. Go4Fun helps families become fitter, healthier and happier by educating on healthy eating habits and making physical activity fun! Go4Fun programs are held each school term, running once a week for 2 hours after school. Term 3 2019 programs will be running in the Parramatta area. Every few weeks we have an exciting new exhibition featuring local artists. Many of our exhibitions are themed along with artists choice. We are run by volunteers who are always happy to guide you around our gallery.

The Wollongong-Illawarra Choir / Vocal Ensemble runs weekly in West Wollongong every Thursday night 7:30pm-8:30pm – within each NSW school term. It is open to anyone, ages 17 and up. Any level of experience is welcome. It is only $10 for your first visit, and only $5 thereafter billed for the remainder of the current term (1 to 11 weeks). The Sweets Station consists of a variety of lollies and sweet treats displayed in glass jars. The display will be set up from commencement of the party, though not accessed until the dedicated time after the creative projects are complete.
