To celebrate our 15th birthday, we are putting on a birthday party with raffles, student performances, face painting, kids disco and adults dance band! All funds raised on the night will be going towards the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

NDF is holding a Winter School Holiday Dancing Workshop! Juniors 6-11 years: 9am-2pm Thursday 18th July 2019 Seniors 12-18 years: 9am-2pm Friday 19th July 2019 Open to all children even if you are not enrolled at NDF and NO dancing experience required! Early-bird offer runs until 28th June!

Dive down deep with us as we join Maya and her seahorse friend Koru, as they embark on an underwater adventure and discover the wonders lying beneath the waves. What will happen when the ancient seadragon wakes? Will they find the Weedy Seadragon in time? Written by award-winning author Wendy Blaxland, Maya and the Sea Dragon is a beautiful new work, brought to life by the performers at MSTYP. Packed with all the characters of the sea, puppetry, music, and the magic of theatre, this world premiere is part of Marian Street Theatre for Young People’s 50th birthday celebrations. Keep it cool at ATYP these Winter Holidays. The Winter school holidays are just around the corner but don’t panic, Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) is here to help with a brilliant line-up of Drama Workshops created to engage performers of all ages. ATYP carefully design our workshops to make sure all young people from K-12 spend a week of their holidays having the best time possible learning new skills, making new friends and of course creating a brand-new performance for their family and friends at the end of the week. With workshops that include acting, singing, writing, short film making, comedy, trips to the theatre, imagination stretching, and SO MUCH MORE, there is something for every young performer. Our junior participants (Yrs K-6) can get lost in the world of The Twits at Monkey Baa Theatre Company or jump behind the camera to create their very own YouTube Channel. Perhaps they could be inspired by our nation’s oldest stories, or stumble into an abandoned lab and get shrunken to the size of ants! The adventures start with their imagination! Senior students (Yrs 7-12) can take on the horror genre and enter the Bloodfest Kids Horror Film Festival with their spooky short films, or take a deep dive into learning techniques for on-camera performance, sharpen up their vocal skills or explore the art of black comedy. Every few weeks we have an exciting new exhibition featuring local artists. Many of our exhibitions are themed along with artists choice. We are run by volunteers who are always happy to guide you around our gallery.

The Wollongong-Illawarra Choir / Vocal Ensemble runs weekly in West Wollongong every Thursday night 7:30pm-8:30pm – within each NSW school term. It is open to anyone, ages 17 and up. Any level of experience is welcome. It is only $10 for your first visit, and only $5 thereafter billed for the remainder of the current term (1 to 11 weeks). Therefore, the absolute maximum amount you’ll pay per term is $60! Group singing is fun and social, and a great way to destress and feel happy! Come and join us. We offer a variety of fun CreativiTea Parties held at our Creative Learning Centre in Kirrawee, Sydney. Sweets Station Styling Package ~ suitable for all ages. Calling all ice cream sundae lovers! At our Sweets Station CreativiTea Parties, tables are set up ready to get the creative project underway. Each child’s place is set up with a mason jar with lid and straw, filled with low-joule cordial, and a melamine bowl for a crunch and sip style service during creative project making. The Sweets Station consists of a variety of lollies and sweet treats displayed in glass jars. The display will be set up from commencement of the party, though not accessed until the dedicated time after the creative projects are complete.
