JAKSA Performing Arts Studio provides expert lessons in private solo singing, group singing, JFH (jazz/funk/hip hop) dancing, drama (acting) and musical theatre.

Our team supports children's overall well being. Our programs boosts self-confidence and independence. Our studio culture instills respect, celebrates diversity and cultivates kindness.

We have been local business finalists for the last seven years and it was an honour to win "Most Outstanding Performing Arts Studio in the Canterbury/Bankstown area" in 2018.

Our team promotes growth mindset and continually works hard to create a nurturing, creative, safe space, where students from ages 4 years, through to adults, are encouraged to express their individuality and develop expert skills in singing, dancing and acting.

Our programs and syllabus assist children's social and emotional development, speech and language development, fine and gross motor skill development, cognitive development and we pride ourselves in contributing to the overall mental health and welfare of our students.

Our JAKSA team continually create internal and external opportunities for students to excel in performance and celebrate in their success.

    Highly Recommended
    When searching for singing and dancing classes for my daughter, I was searching for a place where my daughter would be allowed to be herself, sing and dance to the best of her ability and most importantly have lots of fun! I, myself, did competitive dancing and promised I would never put my daughter through the same stress and pressure that I went through. From the first day my daughter attended a trial at Jaksa, I knew I had found the perfect place. The studio is fabulous! From day one, Jahn welcomed us into the Jaksa family and, although we have only been attending Jaksa for over a year now, it feels like we have known Jahn and the lovely Jaksa team for a lot longer. Over the past year, my daughter has done ballet, tap, jazz, singing and drama lessons and all her teachers have been fantastic – very talented, passionate, supportive and encouraging!

    I'm am constantly very impressed with the professionalism of Jaksa and their staff, and also the fun classes this studio provides. My confidence has improved so much throughout the 9 years I've been at Jaksa, as well as my performance skills, and dance technique. I love how this studio creates a family environment that both teaches me skills and technique, but is also extremely fun. I would definitely recommend this studio for not only school students, but also adults as my mum enjoys her Adult singing group each thursday.

    Awesome Studio
    My daughter and myself have been actively involved with Jaksa Performing Arts for 6 years. the quality of teaching at the studio has been superb and I have seen my daughter grow into a confident teenager who is considering a career as a Scriptwriter. Thanks Jahn for your talent to inspire others.

    Dramatically Different
    If you are looking for a place to see your child shine then Jaksa is the place to go. There is no pressure to be the best, the philosophy behind the school supports each child to try and be their very best. I have 2 children who between them attend drama, musical theatre and singing and they both love it.

    Wonderful Studio!
    Alison Collis · 2 minutes ago My daughter has been attending Jaksa for the last two years and in that time her ability, confidence and enjoyment in singing have all increased. She has also developed some lovely friendships with other students. Jahn is kind, generous with her time, incredibly supportive of achievements and lets each student's individual talents shine. We had tried a couple of other studios before Jaksa, but this is the best by far, it has a real family feel and students are encouraged and given some fantastic opportunities. I cannot recommend Jaksa highly enough.

    Highly recommend
    I have been a student at Jaksa for 2 years now and i cannont recommed it enough. I had danced previously and after a long break wanted to get back into dancing. At first i was nervous but i was so warmly encouraged and supported by Miss Jahn, the teachers and other students that the nerves quickly went away. My confidence and skills have improved so much and i can do things that i never imagined i would have been able to do. It is like one big family that caters to all ages and levels and I am very proud to be a part of it.

    JAKSA Performing Arts
    My 2 boys have attended Jaksa for the past 5 years. They have had the opportunity to be a part of dance, drama and singing classes. My eldest son has had the priveledge of being part of 3 different musicals in the past 2 years and I feel that Jaksa has provided him with the necessary skills and confidence to audition for these shows. Miss Jahn is extremely talented and has a wealth of experience to help nurture and support all of her students. She is approachable and encourages all students to be respectful and kind to each other. I have observed my children develop their skills as dancers and performers over the years and I love that Jaksa offers such a variety of opportunities at the one studio. Most importantly my boys have fun, have made some great friends and look forward to attending Jaksa each week.

    Couldn't recommend it enough.
    Jaksa Performing Arts is a fantastic place to send your child to learn a variety of skills. My daughter has been attending the centre for the past three years and I have found the place to be extremely friendly, with both the staff and students encouraging each other. I have always found Ms Jahn to be an effervescent person who is always positive and approachable. She is an extremely dedicated teacher who goes out of her way to make sure every child has an opportunity to showcase their talents, organising both a Pantomime and concert each year. During the time my daughter has been attending the studio, I have seen her confidence in herself and her skills in music, drama and dance improve. Her school teachers have also commented on her improved confidence, particularly when performing and talking in front of others. Jaksa Performing Arts is a fun, caring studio with dedicated staff who bring out the best in all students.

    The teachers are very friendly and make you feel welcome. My daughter has been dancing there for 3 years. It has boosted her confidence and helped her to make new friends.

    Best Studio
    Jaksa is a great studio offering drama and musical theatre classes, as well as dancing and singing. It's a great environment for kids to learn and have fun with the very talented teachers. One of my sons has been going to Jaksa for 3 years and I have seen him grow in confidence and enjoy it so much his older brother started going too.
