Yong-gi Taekwondo Australia trains at our Cornubia and Mount Warren Park Dojang's.

Mount Warren Park:- Tuesday, and Thursday 6 pm-7 pm
Cornubia:- Wednesday 6 pm- 7 pm and our Super Saturday class 9 am-10 am (10 am- 11 am for senior students)

Yong-gi Taekwondo Australia is run by a husband and wife team Taekwondo organisation bringing self-defence and peace of mind to you and your family. We teach a traditional Taekwondo (original Taekwondo Chan-Hon Taekwon-do) style of martial art taking pride in living by the traditional tenets of Taekwondo.

As an original style of Taekwondo, we teach all the original Patterns (Forms, Hyungs). We do not extract patterns from our syllabus. As a traditional original style of Taekwondo, our time is dedicated to instructing students in all aspects of Taekwondo suitable to their rank. As a traditional martial arts school, we do not take part in or hold tournaments or competitions. We believe this distracts the student's attention away from important training required to progress.

We have many families that sign up together and train together, this helps with parent-child bonding, let's face it children these days prefer to stay on their I pads or some sort of electronic gadget.

    Family fun
    I attend classes with my five-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son. The instructors are supportive and have seemingly endless patience. This is a wonderful way to get fit whilst bonding with your children.

    My kids 10 &11 1/2, boy & girl just love classes at Yong-gi Taekwondo. The atmosphere is friendly, inclusive, and supportive. My kids are learning self reliance, resilliance & persistance. And a self defence to boot. The instructors are capable, skilled & genuine. What is not to like. Highly Recommended.

    Family friendly fitness
    Family friendly TaeKwon-Do. We are a mum, dad and 9 year old son, all training in the same class at the same time. This is something that was important to us to be able to all do a fitness activity together. All the instructors are passionate and encouraging to each student along with knowing their students limitations. We are very thankful that we have this opportunity to learn the art of taekwondo together.
