Unsatisfactory

16-05-2013

This Center use to be allot better than it is now. They hire middle aged woman who have little energy to care for the kids. They serve less than appealing food and the cook basically cooks what food the staff like rather than the kids. Last time I checked no 2 or 3 year old liked eating butter chicken. The Center is dirty and not cleaned properly and children are always coming and leaving sick. Concerns aren't really addressed seriously as the director is lazy and only does minimal work requirements. The problem with this council run Center is that there is no accountability. The director is not the owner so therefore little effort is made to bring the Center up to an excellent standard. There is a turn over of staff and honestly the older ladies working there clearly don't like their jobs. They spend most of their time standing around talking instead of interacting with the children. There are 3 god carers at this Center but the rest should not be working there. I would rate this Center as a 1 only now. When my eldest daughter went their it was quite good but by the time my so started this Center had gone down hill immensely which is a real shame. The preschool room has a very dangerous hill a d children are left to run up and down it. My son has a nasty scar from this hill. He also would come home bruised black and blue from rough playing and being allowed to jump off the high play equipment. The council needs to take better care of this Center and go in and regroup and clean things up. Hopefully more parents will complain and the care in this Center will improve.
