Our new Art Express classes have begun! At only $20 per class, the workshops provide an excellent way to hone your creative abilities while meeting new people and having a lot of fun in the process. The classes are accessible and on offer to people with all levels of skill and abilities, with a support worker present for those who require some extra assistance. Participants are required to be 16+ unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. $20 per class for up to 3 hours of classes with experienced facilitators!

Come join us for a musical good time! "Playtime" is our Kindermusik theme for the month for 1 to 2 year olds. It is a parent interactive class where we make music and sing together to give your little one the best learning experience ever! All of our lessons meet early childhood guidelines. $54 for a term of 4 lessons.

Term 1 (2017) Starting Monday 30th january 2017 Classes at Pure Dance run over 10 week terms, closely in line with NSW School Terms. As a term paying member you receive discounts on all classes! A non-refundable deposit is payable on booking into any service provided by Pure Dance. This ensures that your booking is secured and and that group classes run and the time table is not altered or changed. Deposits insure that you have reserved your place (a max of 10 students are booked into any class during the full 10 week terms) and that a studio room and instructor has been booked for you. We only need 4 student to start any class (so find three friends and you can start a new class at a time that suits you, provided we have an instructor and room available, please ask and we will be happy to help). Once we have 4 students booked in, with a 50% deposit paid, group classes will be confirmed to run. Classes at Pure Dance are subject to change or cancellation, up to and including the date of the course, if insufficient bookings have been received. Classes with less than 4 students booked and paid will be cancelled. In the event of a class or course being altered or cancelled, every effort will be made to avoid inconvenience by offering an alternative class, date or time. If an alternative class can not be arranged then a full refund will be granted. All inquiries regarding refunds or credits should be taken up with Pure Dance Management. Casual members are not required to pay a deposit upon booking into group class/es. Students receiving casual Private Lessons will be required to pay a $30 or 30% deposit upon booking their class. Private Lessons offer the flexibility to be rescheduled and providing your instructor with at least 24 hours notice, insures you will never miss out on your dancing, you can do it when you want to do it (and you won’t incur a $30 cancellation fee). If private lessons are cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice a $30 late reschedule fee is retained by Pure Dance and can not be used on future classes or services. The remainder of your fees is payable at, or before attending, your first class/lesson/event. First Lesson Free! Beginner Classes $200 for 10 weeks Intermediate Classes $250 for 10 weeks Advanced Classes $300 for 10 weeks Classes at Pure Dance are for everyone! However we do ask that any girls and boys under the age of 18 years obtain written parental consent before attending classes. We also ask that all students bring a mature class friendly attitude. If you are unable to attend your regular class, you have the remainder of that term to do a ‘catch up class’. Please ensure you notify your teachers of classes you have missed and classes you would like to attend as catch up. Be sure to also log into Pure Dance Online or the Pure Dance App (Apple and Google Play) and early cancel any classes you may miss (so you can use that credit to book your catch up lessons, if you dont know how and instructor can do it for you) and check class numbers so that you know which classes have room for you to attend. This will help to avoid over crowding in classes as room has been allowed for only two extra students in each class. Missed classes cannot be credited (or carried over) toward future terms, other classes or other students and refunds are not granted for missed classes. Point Break Drama Acting Studio is excited to host one of Australia's biggest casting agents, Leigh Pickford from Maura Fay Casting to present an exclusive audition Preparation Masterclass. Piano or Guitar Lessons with Nathan Walsh Bachelor of Music - Australian Institute of Music As a professional musician and educator Nathan Walsh has taught piano, guitar, music theory and song writing to many students of all ages, abilities and interests from classical pianists to funky guitarists and budding songwriters. Nathan has extensive experience in the AMEB, Trinity and HSC Music syllabus and inspires his students to perform well in whatever musical venture they pursue. In addition to teaching Inner West Music College Nathan also works at Holroyd Special needs school where he helps children with a range of physical and mental conditions through a specially designed music programme. As an artist himself Nathan studied a Bachelor of Music at The Australian Institute of Music and majored in contemporary performance. He has had the opportunity to attend master classes with renowned musicians including Tommy Emmanuel, Evermore and Berklee song writing lecturer Pat Pattison. Nathan also regularly performs alongside artists from The Voice and X factor and does work for many up and coming artists in the studio as a musical director, song writer and session musician as well as performing in his own jazz trio and pop duo.

Point Break Drama Acting School is excited to announce the return of the highly successful School Holiday Acting / Drama workshop Intensive, in the Autumn ( April) School holidays for kids & Teens. The Holiday Drama workshop is designed to challenge children & teenagers, with new ideas about acting and performance, and give them tastes of different areas. Once again the course will be split into two age groups. Kids (7-10yrs) and Teens (11-17yrs). The Drama workshop will take place late in the school holidays on Thurs 16th & Fri 17th April, 2015 from 9am - 4pm on each day. The Early bird Price for the two full days is just $200. Acting / Auditioning for the Camera An in-depth look at the film/ TV casting process, & how to improve your chances of getting a job. Students will prepare &, rehearse scenes in front of camera.The older group will be expected to offer constructive feedback in the role of a producer choosing their own cast. Scenes will be taken from current TV / film shows. Drama Sports & Improvisation Students will be taken through a fun and challenging improvisation and Drama sports workshop, covering an array of skills and high-energy drama sports games. Essential skills for those wanting to get work in commercials. Acting Technique A key part of this workshop will be exposing students to new acting techniques. New York Style Teen Classes (NYSTC) Our 9-week course is for young students who are excited about learning how to act for the stage and for the screen. We cover a range of exercises that are all designed to help aspiring young actors learn what acting is all about. The famous Meisner Technique helps bring confidence, truth and realism to an actor’s performance. What this means for our students is that once they develop the skills this technique has to offer, they are then able to deliver a performance for the stage and for the screen that is natural, real and engaging to watch!
