Kids Up Front run after school drama classes for children throughout the North Shore, Ryde, Inner West and Hills District in Sydney. Our after school drama lessons for junior students (Kindy to Year 2) participate in a themed lesson performed for each other each week. Our senior students (Year 3 +) develop performance skills in the first half of the year through improvisation drama games and scene work. In the second half of the year they collaborate with their teacher on a group devised piece to be performed at a real theatre. For many of our students this is the highlight of their year as they shine on stage in front of a live audience. Working together in drama means listening to each other and accepting and extending each others ideas thus helping children develop good social skills and confidence in presenting their own ideas. Developing confidence, creativity and communication skills are very important life skills whatever path in life they choose to take. We run weekly classes during NSW School Terms! Our Term Classes aim to complement school learning by tap into the creativity of our learners and equipping them with confidence building activities for one hour a week. Weekly lessons are planned with activities of drama, debate, creative writing and public speak along with memorable end of term presentation; enjoyed by parents and students alike! Online-Interactive Classes Yes you can join us from the comfort of your own home! Online classes are live, interactive and follow the exact same program structure as our In-Person Classes ! In-Person Classes Our in-person after-school and weekend classes combine a multitude of fun activities to improve their communication skills. Classes are held in a variety of locations across Sydney and we are constantly adding new classes to keep up with demand.
