Martial Arts for everyday type people suitable for Men, Women & Children.

When you begin training with us your age, gender or current physical condition really doesn't matter. Everyone begins with the basics, then naturally moves towards more advance techniques, you work at your own pace and training in CKD martial arts is anything BUT boring; its a high energy, fat burning, stress reducing super charged workout!
Our CKD martial arts training doesn't stop when you leave the dojo. It applies to all areas of your life, giving you greater confidence, self esteem and discipline. Most importantly, you will gain the awareness and the ability to protect yourself if you ever need it.

Professional Instructors will help you all the way as you start learning CKD martial arts with us at our fulltime martial art premises which opens daily at 9:30am Monday through to Saturday. "WE HAVE MOVED" 2 doors up to the next building on Riverway Drive, Thuringowa Central near Willows Shopping Centre Intersection and right opposite the Civic Theatre and Riverway Park public pool & lagoons.

    AMAZING!!!
    As soon as you walk in you immediately feel welcome, the atmosphere is relaxed, the instructors are exceptionally nice and easy to get along with. The students are respectful and courteous, they are always willing to help out the newbies, you can tell their training has paid off. if you're looking to start a new sport or activity this is the place to come :)

    Great atmosphere and friendly people
    They really have their students best interests at heart, my son was having difficulty and following the encouragement of the instructors he is now having a ball and cant wait to go to class, we are seeing the benefits too!

    Persistance is Key
    My son started at Choi Kwang Do about 4 months ago. When he started he was nervous and didn't want to participate in the class. The staff acknowledged this and each lesson worked along side him to make him feel more comfortable and accepted . After a few weeks of persistence he now loves attending classes and is happy to participate in what is expected of him in class.
