Sydney Calisthenics Club is a small calisthenics club where kids perform dance and gymnastic based items as a team, on stage, to modern and fun music. Our club motto is fun, fitness & friendship!
Australian Calisthenics is a team-based performance sport with elements of ballet, gymnastics, jazz, contemporary, singing and acting...all in one great class!

Australian Calisthenics is great for all dance abilities from beginner dancers to those wanting to advance their dance styles. Its something completely different!

We welcome all new pupils at any stage throughout the year.

All Coaches at Sydney Calisthenics Club are Level 1 qualified via the Australian Calisthenics Federation, hold current Working with Children Checks and First Aid. We adhere to all NSW Government COVID-19 requirements and have a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place.

Sydney Calisthenics Club, located at Alexandria Town Hall, is a small calisthenics club where kids perform dance and gymnastic based dance routines as a team, on stage, to modern and fun music. Calisthenics is like enrolling your child into ballet, singing, jazz, team building and gymnastics all rolled in to one class. Students develop self-esteem and confidence in a friendly, fun and caring environment and without the sometimes rigid structure of ballet classes.

    My daughters LOVE Sydney Calisthenics Club
    Both of my primary school aged daughters wanted to attend weekly dance classes plus gymnastics classes and singing classes, which of course individually would cost a small fortune in the Eastern Suburbs! Therefore I am so pleased that a friend introduced me to Sydney Calisthenics Club! After only one term, I've come to realise that calisthenics offers a well rounded "performing arts experience" and my girls are absolutely loving it. Plus the SCC teachers obviously know what they are doing because their experience shines through when they are interacting with their students. There are many parents in Sydney that will not be familiar with calisthenics, as it is considered to be a "new" sport in NSW (perhaps it could best be compared to physie?). If this is you, then I would recommend taking your child to a free trial class so that you can see for yourself what it is all about. You may well be pleasantly surprised! Happy kids? Tick! Experienced instructors? Tick! Excellent value for money? Tick! Tick!
