Life can be pretty hard at times for anyone including toddlers, children and teenagers. What helps us get through and grow through tough times or challenging situations is acquiring mental resilience and life skills.
Resilience is important for children's mental health. Children with greater resilience are better able to manage stress, which is a common response to difficult events. Stress is good if one can and knows how to manage them. But if stress is left unchecked, it poses a risk factor for mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.
We work with different professionals to help parents and children develop essential life skills, habits and attitudes for building resilience at home. We have workshops for parents, children (age 9 to 13) and youths.
