Kids Sound Workshop is suitable For 6 years to 14 years.(younger may be considered depending of the child’s focus and attention).
Sessions: 3 x sessions per week for 3 weeks in January 2018 at Ashtanga Yoga Studio in Newcastle
The aim of this program is for children to learn and participate in intuitive sound and performance in fun and active sessions.
Activities will include a mini sound bath, active Kids Jungle Yoga, instrument intuition and jam sessions and finish with relaxing sound meditation. A Kids Sound Performance is planned at the end of the program.
In the ambience of the yoga studio.

Program:
Welcome to children and families
10 minutes Sound Meditation Bath with Patricia and Jenn
20 minutes Kids Jungle Yoga poses and movement and Sound with Jenn and Patricia
40 minutes learn about the instruments and guided play with children
10 minutes Jam Session with instruments with children
10 minute relaxation and sound meditation quiet time
There are educational components in the program including movement, sound integration, and intuitive sound and relaxation techniques. Parents are welcome to join in and/or allow the children to experience the components in their own space.
Starts Tuesday 9th January –sessions each week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of weeks of 8th, 15th and 22nd January, 2018 from 10am to 11.30am (1 hour 30 mins)
Performance Night Friday evening 26th January from 5.30 to 6.45pm. Family and friends welcome. ($10 per ticket adults, no cost children to age 12years).
Costs: Overall program 9 sessions at $18 ($162 per child) Family of 2 or more $15 discount ($135 per child)

Per 1 child - total of $66 per child.
Family of 2 or more - total $60 per child.
