In a modest building, shaded by 2 ancient Moreton Bay Fig Trees looking over the River Murray, is a priceless collection of the riverboat era and early life in Echuca.
Echuca Historical Society Museum operating from the Old Cop Shop, an 1869 Police Station and Lock up and is classified by the National Trust.
Many documents and memorabilia can be found at the Museum including river charts, records of floods, paddlesteamers that traveled up and down the mighty Murray, as well as extensive family history and stories of the men and women who made their life in Echuca.
