    Trust Kids! Detective Agent Day

    The children will arrive at the Old Melbourne Gaol dressed in their best detective outfit and ready to follow the trail to solve the hundred year old murder mystery. The event will begin in the Old Magistrates’ Court where they’ll be given a list of clues from the judge. They'll rotate through each activity in the Old Melbourne Gaol and the old Police Watch House in search of evidence to the 'who done it' murder mystery. Once completed, they’ll race back to the Old Magistrates’ Court to report their findings to the judge and find out if they’ve solved the hundred year old murder mystery. There will be 6 different activity zones, interactive prison photo opportunities (mug shots, Ned Kelly outfits etc.), a kids movie, Ned Kelly mask making and a certificate from the mayor for solving the hundred year old murder mystery. *Lunch can be eaten in the courtyard next door to the Old Melbourne Gaol (lunch not included).     As part of City of Stonnington's Roola Boola Children's Arts Festival, we are offering our popular clay sculpture and paper mask-making art classes during the upcoming school holidays. Keep your children busy with art activities and explore their artistic talents. Previous participants are welcome to join us again to hone in their skills and create more artworks! An ideal opportunity for children interested in the arts and looking for unique and enriching activities. In this 3-day workshop run by a professional sculptor, Stefan Damschke, children can learn how to build their own sculptures – use their imagination to make something fantastic! They’ll also be working in a real sculptor’s studio. Workshop leader Stefan Damschke is a professional sculptor, and trained under Master sculptor Karl Duldig at Duldig Studio. Stefan runs ‘Clay for Kids’ workshops for young people in schools and at the Studio, with the support of the City of Stonnington. Suitable for children aged 7-12 years old.
