    Inspirational Teacher

    17-11-2016 by Elizabeth

As a colleague and friend of Kim's for more than twenty years, I can warmly recommend her as a very experienced teacher who has great insight into the advantages of the Suzuki Violin Method. Whether Kim's students are very young children, or at a tertiary level, she has inspired them all to strive for excellence in technique and musicianship, and her deep understanding of Dr Suzuki's philosophy and pedagogy has made her a very successful teacher at all levels.

    Super Teacher

    02-11-2016 by Rhonda

I have had the honor of observing and working with some of Kim’s students when they have visited Matsumoto, Japan for the Suzuki Method Summer Schools. I have always been impressed with Kim’s positive and very energetic teaching and have seen the results of this teaching through the quality of her students’ performances. Kim has chosen to take her skills to a new area, one that might not be as familiar with the Suzuki Method as where she taught before, but as soon as more children and parents see what Kim and the Suzuki Method have to offer I know that Hobart will be another very active part our worldwide “Suzuki Family”. Hobart is very fortunate to have such a great Suzuki violin teacher.

    Outstanding teacher

Kim's been my friend and a colleague in Melbourne for 24 years and I'm delighted to be inheriting some of her students since she has moved to Hobart. Kim is an outstanding teacher and cultivates fine warm spirit in her students and absolutely top-notch technique and musicality. My daughter has enjoyed her occasional extra lesson with Kim. If you have kids give Kim a call!
