Avalon Tutoring provides high quality tutoring in maths and physics up to year 12 in Australia.

I work with the student on line each week for an hour, covering class work and reviewing any material misunderstood in previous years.


I am friendly and approachable, and have tutored for 30 years. I initially studied engineering, then while working in the Queensland Museum obtained a Masters of Education. I ran the CSIRO Double Helix in Brisbane for several years, and established the highly successful Pomona Learning Center, which specifically catered for children with ADHD behaviours. I offer teacher training "harnessing physicality in service of the curriculum" and run a large community circus for children (Circus Avalon).
