Description

The Australian Institute of Martial Arts (AIMA), has been servicing the Gold Coast Community with Martial Art, Health and Fitness Classes since 2003. Our classes cater for Kids and Adults of all ages starting from 4 yrs old.
We deliver a range of programs with a variety of specific outcomes for each member to choose from.

KIDS PROGRAMS:
▪ Animal Style Kung Fu Program
TIGER - CRANE - EAGLE - DRAGON
This progam is broken up into 3 levels for each age group, and caters for kids from 4 - 15 yrs. Depending on the age group, each class will include beginners to advanced Animal Forms training, Health awareness and Fitness training, Fundamentals for Self-Defense training as well as 2 person Animal style Self-defence Applications.
This program is Graded with coloured sashes, animal emblems and tips.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES:
Members can choose to Compete for Animal Forms (Conditions Apply) or Simply train for Self-Defense and individual development.
This program predominantly emphasises a Self-defense outcome with an option to compete in martial art tournaments or competitions with the animal forms only, and an introductory to the art of Kung Fu while learning to maintain moral and ethical values.
▪Combat Sports Program
BOXING - KICKBOXING - GRAPPLING
This program includes either 1 or all three of the combative disciplines, as well as enhancing the animal forms for competition, depending on the certain membership package you choose. Members will learn their chosen respective discipline/s and how to optimise their ability to reach their full potential to compete in either a friendly or amateur level.
This program has a competition level training syllabus without any gradings required, the requirements for being ready to compete will be based on the individuals progress through the stages of the syllabus and their willingness to compete .
PROGRAM OUTCOME:
This program predominantly emphasises a Combative Sports outcome.
