FlippaBall is a modified, non-contact social competition designed for children aged 12 and under. It’s an adaptation of Water Polo, featuring a shorter season, modified equipment, and additional rules aimed at encouraging fun and fundamental skill development. Ideal for newcomers to the sport, FlippaBall offers a stepping stone before transitioning to club age group competitions. Its objectives include: ▪️ Providing a safe and age-appropriate introduction to water polo. ▪️ Teaching Water Polo skills, movements, and strategies to young players. ▪️ Ensuring that all participants, regardless of skill level, familiarity with the sport, or access to pool facilities, have the opportunity to play. ▪️ Serving as an engagement tool for communities to connect participate and appreciate water polo. Above all, FlippaBall prioritises FUN, social interaction, inclusivity, and safety for all involved.
