Join us for fun and challenging skills clinics each Wednesday evening from 5pm-7pm or 7pm to 9pm, depending on your age. Develop and improve your training, fitness, ball skills, shooting and teamwork.

Ford Aussie Hoops is a basketball development program for young people. An opportunity to acquire and develop new skills, build social development and inclusion, and a lifelong love for the game of basketball and sport. It prepares students with skills and confidence to join a team and play in a local team, progress to representative teams or move into roles such as refereeing or coaching. Most of all Aussie Hoops is about having FUN. Join us to learn about ** Basketball basics * Motor skills * Fitness * Wellbeing * Teamwork ** Programs are run during each school term.

The Suns Academy is a next level skills training program for players and coaches alike. It is an opportunity for players to learn new skills, and develop and fine tune their core skills, in a different setting to the usual club team training, that is different players and coaches with new and exciting training plans. The program's underlying focus is ball handling, footwork, finishing, shooting, strength and fitness; and team play and sportsmanship. The program is in two parts – the Clinics run weekly through the school term, one afternoon per week, and the Academy camps, held during school holidays with guest coaches over multiple days.

Our weekly programs are your child’s starting point with Basketball Star Academy. Fun, skill based training with experienced coaches for all those looking to further develop their basketball skills. Suitable for beginners right through to more experienced players and all ages from 5-14. Our experienced coaches will guide your child through essential basketball techniques, including areas such as shooting, dribbling, defense, teamwork, plus more. Our weekly programs are 60 minutes in duration We run many days at venues from Mernda to eltham and surrounding suburbs

The aim of our program is to train and develop players who want to elevate their Basketball skills. Our qualified coaches will train players in our intensive skills program and have them play against each other in a tournament-style environment. Located at Michael Clarke Recreation Centre, Carnes Hill

Mini Hoops is a FUN and non-competitive introduction to the great game of Basketball and players will develop fundamental skills such as passing, catching and shooting which will be critical elements of the game as they progress through the age groups. This program is suited for kids 5 to 9 years of age.

Basketball Development League is a development program for all young players who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball. It is designed as an effective pathway to develop individual skills and enhance teamwork in a fun and safe learning environment.

Magic Academy The Magic Academy Program is designed for primary school children who are not quite ready to join a team. Magic Academy kids will learn the fundamental skills of basketball through warm up games, skill activities and modified game play, all delivered by our accredited coaches. Runs the same as Winter Comp for full season 2023 Term 4 & 2024 Term 1 Closes when we reach 35 kids each session Magic Academy Program Boys Friday afternoons 4.00pm - 4.45pm - LINK $120. Magic Academy Program Girls Friday afternoons 4.00pm - 4.45pm - LINK $50
