Our experienced coaches will guide your child through essential basketball techniques, including areas such as shooting, dribbling, defense, teamwork, plus more. The aim of our program is to train and develop players who want to elevate their Basketball skills. Mini Hoops is a FUN and non-competitive introduction to the great game of Basketball and players will develop fundamental skills such as passing, catching and shooting which will be critical elements of the game as they progress through the age groups. This program is suited for kids 4.5 to 7 years of age.

Basketball Development League is a development program for all young players who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball. It is designed as an effective pathway to develop individual skills and enhance teamwork in a fun and safe learning environment.

Hookin2Hockey is Hockey Australia’s official junior entry program, designed to teach boys and girls (ages 12 and under) the fundamental skills of field hockey in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. Hills Hockey is offering a 10-week Hookin2Hockey program at Gables Hockey Complex during Term 3. WHO: Boys and Girls aged 5 years to 12 years WHEN: Every Monday from 20 July 2026 to 21 September 2026 ~ 6pm - 7pm WHERE: The Gables Hockey Complex, Fontana Drive, Gables NSW 2765 WHAT TO BRING: Equipment is provided. However, we have two core beliefs that we take into every session. Firstly, we believe in something we call “Play not Push”. It means teaching football in a fun, pressure-free environment. Magic Academy The Magic Academy Program is designed for primary school children who are not quite ready to join a team. Magic Academy kids will learn the fundamental skills of basketball through warm up games, skill activities and modified game play, all delivered by our accredited coaches. St Monica's Netball Club offers a Woolworths NetSetGO program in Term 3 each year which is facilitated by the club. Woolworths NetSetGO is netballs official starter program for kids aged five to 10. It's a chance to learn the netball basics while having fun. Kids gain confidence, get active and make friends in a safe and inclusive environment. How it works: The program is divided up into three tiers. Net, Set and GO. Where you begin depends on your age and netball experience, but there's no skill level required to get started. WHEN: Throughout Term 3 for 10 weeks TIME: Saturdays, 9 - 10am WHERE: St Monica's Primary School, Moonee Ponds, Senior Yard Registration fee is $92 and includes 9 weeks of NetSetGO fun, a certificate, a medal and a Woolworths NetSetGO t-shirt and netball. If you child loves NetSetGO, they might consider joining one of the St Monica's Netball Club Under 9's teams. The Under 9's division is a really great starting point and age for any kids wanting to have a go at Netball. The Under 9 teams play with relaxed rules, lower rings and the kids have the opportunity to learn as they play.
