Our Regular Classes operate during school terms Monday to Friday - classes every week day in Richmond TERM 3 STARTS JULY 15 - SEP 21

Get ready to have some fun in this weekly one-hour kids art class. We'll explore a variety of different types and styles of art including painting, ink, printmaking, collage, chalk pastels. Our main focus will be on drawing, mark making, painting, ink, and collage. Each artwork will be an expression of the artists' personal style and skills. Throughout the term, artists will be guided through the design process and will learn how to pause and view their piece in progress and alter plans where necessary. Each Artists' individual art techniques and abilities will be celebrated. At the end of the term, artists will have completed three (or more) larger artworks as well as a variety of small pieces and warm-up exercises. All equipment will be provided by the teacher. Artists will need to wear comfortable clothes that are okay to get painty. Please note: This is a 7-week course (There is no class on Tuesday September 3 due to the studio being booked for a Wyndham Learning Festival event). ​4:15 - 5:15 pm Ages 6 - 14

Peaceful Parenting 23 July Do you want to be calmer and enjoy your parenting journey? Come along and learn some strategies. Peaceful Parents is a Mindfulness and Positive Psychology based parenting program which aims to increase resilience and wellbeing. It is a strength-based parenting workshop that is engaging, practical and supportive. Parents learn strategies to lessen stress and enjoy parenting more. The sessions’ present practical strategies to parents to help manage children’s emotions, listen mindfully, engage and empower children to problem solve situations.

Hohnes Road Playhouse is available to hire out to non members for Children's Birthday Parties. With plenty of indoor space to play party games and outdoor activities like swings, trampoline and sandpit, Hohnes Road Playhouse is an ideal all-weather venue all year round. Hire includes the use of indoor spaces and toys, a fully equipped kitchen, undercover deck and fully secure outdoor spaces, including toys. ​ Hire Hohnes Road for your next party and enjoy a fun filled event with plenty to entertain the little people, and use our Playhouse as your fuss free approach to a party! Suited to: * 0-5 year old children, older siblings and families * parties of up to 40 guests * indoor and outdoor parties Benefits: * exclusive use of a safe and secure space for the duration of your party * easy access to the Diamond Valley Miniature Railway * adaptable spaces for your unique party set up * keep your own house mess-free! Cost: $220 Hire fee for Non Members (reduced rate for Friends of Members, or Current Members) $100 Bond (returned after inspection of Playhouse) $22 Public Liability Insurance A hire agreement must be signed, and terms and conditions met. The hire fee, refundable bond and Public Liability Insurance must be paid prior to the party - an invoice will be issued upon confirmation of the hire conditions. The Art Room and supplies are not included in the event hire. Hohnes Road Playhouse is a nut free facility. Consumption of alcohol is not permitted. For Members of Playhouse $80 + $100 Bond + $22 insurance For Friends of Members $170 + $100 Bond + $22 Insurance For General Public $220 + $100 Bond +$22 insurance Bond will be refunded on inspection of venue after the party. Some of the bond may be retained should there be cleaning, maintenance or repairs required.
