Holiday Workshops are a great way to get a taste of this creative hobby ...KNITTING...SEWING...CROCHET..., and learn the basics of these very useful skills; and you get to take home an item(s) which you've made by yourself from start to finish. The class runs from 10 am - 4 pm, and is suitable for students aged 7+. Beginners are very welcome, as we'll be starting with learning the basics, safety in the sewing room, using the machine and simple have-sewing; and the project will be finished in time to bring home at the end of the workshop. Use of sewing machines, all patterns, fabric etc is included in the cost. However you do need to bring lunch/drink/morning tea. Booking is essential as class size is kept to 4-5 student. Drop the kids off for 2.5 hrs of art making in our printmaking workshop. Kids create a collagraph printing plate using craft foam and cardboard with lots of foody shapes to look like a "pizza". They then roll up and print their plates using professional printing inks to create a beautiful coloured print (or 2) to take home. Kids will also have fun collaborating on a HUGE printed mural! Cardboard, pom poms, tape, paint, glitter and all manner of crafty bits and bobs will be used to create any world they can imagine. Activities include: School Holiday Classes; Birthday Parties and After School Projects School Holiday Classes Send your child along to join in the creative fun at Banjos Bead House. A variety of projects are on offer for children from age 6 to 12 or teenagers. Within a safe and creative environment children can learn basic beading and sewing skills to make jewellery or gifts. They’ll complete at least two or three projects, giving them a sense of satisfaction every time. They also get to take home their beautiful creations to share with friends and family or to save as gifts for Christmas or birthdays. We have a wide project range and classes are small, individualised and run by our professional bead and craft teachers. We supply all of the materials and tools needed for the class, as well as morning or afternoon tea. You can book for one or a number of classes. School Holiday Class program: 1 hour program 10.30 - 11.30, 11.30 - 12.30, 1.00 - 2.00, 2.00 - 3.00 or 3.00 - 4.00 2 hour program 9.30am - 11.30am or 1.00pm - 3.00pm - $35 per child 3 hour program: 9.30am - 12.30pm or 1.00pm - 4.00pm - $45 per child Full day 9.30am - 4.00pm - $90 per child.
