HOLIDAY ART & CRAFT CLASSES for Primary school attending children 5.5 - 12 YEARS We offer a diverse range of art lessons during school holidays: drawing, painting, printmaking & sculpture.​ All primary school attending children are eligible for holiday classes. Preschoolers are NOT accepted into our holiday program. Programs are uploaded to the START ART SCHOOL website 4 weeks prior to school holidays. CLASS SIZES A maximum of 12 children per art class AGE Children must be attending Primary school and be at least 5.5 years old to attend classes. HOLIDAY CLASSES 2024 Winter 8 July - 19 July Spring 30 September - 11 October Summer 16 December - 21 December ​ TIMES AM CLASS: 9.30am-12.30pm & PM CLASS: 1.30pm-4.30pm Lunchtime supervision is provided for children staying a full day at no additional charge. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT Bookings are to be made online via the START ART SCHOOL website. Art classes are only regarded as booked once payment is received

Happily Heffalump art classes will continue next year with theory and colour projects each week. We will practice special effects, perspective, anatomy and animation techniques. The colour projects will be playing with European water colour, Ink stone and ink stick on bamboo papers, oil and chalk pastels. Acrylic, goauche paint for cartoons. Markers and colour pencil sketching.

Yes we teach your child HOW to draw & paint! Right from the foundations of technical and structural drawing. Covering all the basics, from line, shape, tone and form. To more advanced drawing skills, including skeletons, anatomy, 3D, perspective, realism, still life and portraits. But our secret is we like the kids to draw and paint the subjects they love! We will teach them how to draw realistically, anime / manga or cartoons. All styles including fantastic fantasy art, Japanese style Manga and Mecha, Anime characters, dragons, robots, dinosaurs, creatures, super heroes, and animals. Whatever they love to draw and paint! On the 3rd Sunday of each month, except for January, Art Class Melbourne Australia, runs a very special workshop in the afternoon. Drawing and painting in this beautiful garden estate. 1pm - 5pm, $80. Feel free to do your own project or Lu will tailor one to suit you. BYO your own materials or buy from the Studio on the day. Open to all age groups. Children over 8 years of age are welcome on their own or with an adult doing the class too $80 each.
