Our performance program is made up of three troupes: Performance Development Group (10yrs+) trial open class Our youngest performance group is designed for students who are interested in experiencing the art of performance making with tricks while still in the early stages of their skills development. Colliders(12yrs+) audition required A troupe designed for students who have competence in two or more skills, show an aptitude for performing and are inspired by ensemble work. Sliders(15yrs+) audition required A Troupe for students who are advanced in at least one physical skill and competent in two or more others. Take a tour through the best dance trends pop culture has to offer these school holidays! The Retro Kids school holiday program is all about having fun the way they did back in the day…, with each one in a new decade. We’ll learn a little about the historic events of the decade before dancing the way they did back in the day! About the session Retro Kids is three hours of another time period with plenty of dancing in between! We’ll lead an icebreaker to get to know everyone. Then, we’ll jump into some old school dancing, learning along the way about the icons of the era (just a spoiler alert, Dolly Parton is relevant to all decades). We’ll take a break to eat our snacks and take a few happy snaps in the retro photobooth - we’ve gotta capture our outfits!
