Riding Lessons

Equine Assisted Learning

EAL is an experiential type of therapy utilising the unique traits of horses to address the emotional and mental health needs of the client.

Children and adults exhibiting the following life challenges have all responded well to positive interaction with horses:-
• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Bi-polar
• ADHD ADD
• Downs Syndrome (chromozonal deficiency)
• Bullying Victims
• Bullies
• Abuse victims
• PTSD Suffers

Children and young adults have shown improvement in the following areas after participating in EAL:
• Improved family relationships
• More appropriate interaction at school
• Improved social behaviour
• Greater acknowledgement of actions and consequences.

    Amazing place for all your horse riding pleasure
    Seeing the difference in my 4 year old since she has been involved with Nick and the horses is astronomical! She is currently undergoing treatment for Leukaemia and with all the different medications she is on, her behaviour has, at times, been out of control. She is so much more at peace now, thank goodness. My 5 year old has also benefited from the equine assistance as she has been able to deal with everything going on at home so much better. My husband and I are both ex defence and have our own mental health issues, since being around the horses, hubby has started competing in roping competitions and is more comfortable being around larger groups of people. I have managed to get more comfortable with being around people outside my small circle and am beginning to gain my confidence back. I cannot wait to see what we can achieve with Nick in his new endeavour. Thank you for everything Nick!!!!
