St Anthony's Glen Huntly is a Junior Netball Club which focuses on girls and boys playing with their old friends or making new friends on the netball court.

We are a non-grading netball club so teams formed in U11 sometimes stay together throughout the age groups all the way up to U25! Of course, players leave and join the teams along the way so we are always happy to hear from interested players.

The teams compete in the Caulfield and District Netball Association. Under 11s play on Friday evenings and Under 13s, U15s, U17s & U25s play Saturday mornings. All games are held at the Duncan MacKinnon Netball Courts (Cnr. Murrumbeena & North Roads, Murrumbeena).

Our primary aim is that the girls and boys really enjoy their netball and have consistency within a social group. We encourage our players to develop their netball skills and all teams up to U17 have regular training with appointed coaches. We run Net Set Go programmes during the year for children (boys and girls) mainly in grades 1, 2 or 3 so that they can transition to an U11 team. Even though we are a social club, this does not mean we are not successful St Anthonys teams have won several premierships each year in both the Winter & Summer CDNA competitions.

The CDNA competitions commence normally at the end of the first week of February (Winter Season) and play until June. Summer Season commences first week back in Term 3 and play until November. U11s do not play finals.

Originally formed in the 1920s via the St Anthonys School Glenhuntly we have no direct connection with the school except hold our committee AGMs there once a year.

Our players come from all areas of Glen Eira and Stonnington including Glen Huntly, Carnegie, Caulfield, Chadstone, Hughesdale, Murrumbeena, Oakleigh, Ormond, McKinnon, East Malvern, Ripponlea & Elsternwick.
