WHO WE ARE

Established in 2018, Rise Up Krav Maga is a Krav Maga Global (KMG) affiliate school and we provide practical and effective self-defence classes in Sans Souci, south Sydney's St George area.

Our self-defence training is based on the KMG system, a globally recognised and modern Krav Maga system that is continually being updated for the modern world.

Everyone is welcome at Rise Up Krav Maga, regardless of prior experience. Our self-defence lessons are suitable for ages four and up and are adapted to suit all fitness levels and guarantee that you will feel welcome and a part of the Rise Up Krav Maga community.

We run weekly classes for kids, teens, adults and women only. One-on-one private training is also available for those who are unable to make the regular class schedule. All our classes are run by KMG trained and qualified instructors. Our head instructor has completed the required 240 hour, 22 day General Instructor Course to become a fully certified KMG Graduate Level 5 Instructor.

Rise Up Krav Maga has been voted finalists in the St George Local Business Awards for Outstanding Fitness Services for five years as well as being awarded finalists in the prestigious Australian Small Business Champion Awards for 2023 and 2020.

    Best self-defence school in the area!
    My child loves the classes and looks forward to going to lessons every week. Instructor Yanni is not only teaching her how to protect and defend herself but the lessons have made her more confident and developed her self-esteem. The lessons are interactive and limited in numbers so all kids get the personal attention needed to better understand the techniques taught in class. Instructor Yanni keeps the kids engaged by making the lessons fun and interactive. There are classes available for adults and women only too. Highly recommend Rise Up Krav Maga!
