We are a trusted and respected not-for-profit that delivers programs, services and venues to meet community and youth needs across the whole of Queensland.
MEMBERS STATEMENT
We engage with our members in a respectful and inclusive manner and empower them to cultivate safer, healthier communities. Our membership base is drawn from all parts of the community, including young people.

The Queensland Police-Citizens Youth Welfare Association (PCYC) in partnership with government, community, business and families - achieving excellence in youth development by encouraging participation in recreational, sporting, cultural and welfare programs.

VISION STATEMENT:
Queensland Police-Citizens Youth Welfare Association - Enhancing Queensland Communities Through Youth Development

HISTORY:
Since its foundation in 1948, the Queensland Police-Citizens Youth Welfare Association (PCYC) has strategically established 54 clubs throughout Queensland, in wide-spread and far reaching communities. These clubs have been established in communities of high need where our services and programs can make a difference to the lives of local residents.
Queensland PCYC’s are unique because of our special relationship and links with the Queensland Police Service (QPS). Every single one of our clubs is managed by a Sergeant of the QPS as its Branch Manager. This encourages positive relationships in the community and fosters unique interactions and experiences between QPS Officers and young Queenslanders within our communities.
We’re now 65 years young. While times have changed and we’ve grown to 54 clubs, one thing remains – our commitment to community and vision – Enhancing Queensland communities through youth development.
