The Raptors Basketball Club is a youth Basketball club for with players from Oakleigh, Clayton, Clarinda and surrounding suburbs.

The Raptors Basketball Club is part of the McKinnon Basketball Association. It provides families with the opportunity to play basketball in one of the best local competitions in Melbourne.

Usually the Summer season starts in term 4 and ends at the end of term 1 the following year. The Winter season is over term 2 and 3. There are no games on public holidays, long weekends or school holidays.

For children aged 4 to 9, we recommend the McKinnon Basketball development programs 'Aussie Hoops' and 'Slam Jam'.

Training:
Raptors training is held at local school courts, such as South Oakleigh Secondary College, Oakleigh Primary and Westall Secondary and Primary schools.
Each team trains for an hour each week during the competition period. Training will be on a day/ time to suit the team and the coaches availability whenever possible. Coaches are volunteer and receive their own training

Game Days: Game fixtures are set by the McKinnon Basketball Association. Times and locations change on a weekly basis.
Boys competition - Saturdays
Girls competition - Sundays

Games are played in Courts in schools in and around the McKinnon area.
