Description

Our surf lessons cater for all ages and ability levels.

Each lesson begins by meeting your coach at the Margaret River Surf School Van 10 minutes prior to your lesson starting. You will then be individually sized up with your own board and wetsuit.

After walking from the car park to the beach, we begin our lessons with a talk on safety and techniques. You will get all the information you need to have you feeling assured before even getting in to the water. We teach you about the waves, rips, any hazards, and surfing etiquette, then techniques on how to carry your board, attach your leg rope, paddle for a wave and stand up.

Once in the water, your coach will assist you with wave selection and help you balance as you get a feel for paddling and standing up on the waves.

After the lesson, our coaches are there for a debrief and any further advice or knowledge you may want on developing your skills or setting you up with your own equipment suited to your needs and abilities.
