Kin Tae Kwon Do is a traditional Martial Art school. We teach the Korean Martial Art of Tae Kwon Do for both practical self-defence purposes and the personal development of our students, both physical and mental. That being said we recognise that styles evolve and so our teaching and of self-defence must equip students to be effective in their practice.

Kin Tae Kwon Do is focused on the development of the Martial Artist with a holistic approach. Strong Body, Mind and Spirit as well as developing solid technique and promoting a healthy, active and confident lifestyle.

Whether as a young child developing focus and concentration, a teenager building self-esteem and confidence, or as an adult improving on fitness whilst learning effective self-defence our school and system offers something for everyone. It is our wish that you enjoy the many benefits of this fresh, progressive and student focused organisation, and advance your Tae Kwon Do skills within our dynamic Art.

Kin Tae Kwon Do places a strong emphasis of the 'Do' or Art. The teaching and learning incorporates not only dynamic and effective content knowledge, but focuses on the holistic Martial Artist. Kin Tae Kwon Do is about more than being skilled in combat. The discipline, mental training and character development provide the grounds for embedding in students a strong sense of justice, fortitude, compassion, humility and resolve. It is this important mental conditioning that separates the true Martial Artist from one who has mastered only the physical aspects of the Art.

We feel that part of our duty and the duty of being a Martial Artist is to help others and a culture of service should be underlying all that we do. Our belief is that Martial Artists should train together, stick together and work together, these beliefs stem from training as a family. Our name Kin – meaning family, is important as we believe all members should be treated as family, so that an unbreakable bond is formed.

    Best combination of health, fun, and fitness.
    Kin Taekwondo is the best combination of health, fun, and fitness that I've come across. Not only am I fitter and stronger than I've ever been, I have also learned valuable leadership skills which I will carry with me for life. The instructors create a constructive, supportive environment, which gives students confidence to push themselves and learn. Thank you, Kin.

    Kin TKD is great.
    A very progressive martial arts school and training centre in Perth, that teaches traditional and effective tae kwon do. The Instructors are very caring and understanding and always provide teaching and training that is fun, dynamic and a challenge. They are also all very skilled in their own way and provide a very diverse range of skills, not just fighting ability. This is a very family friendly place where kids, teens and adults are welcome. The self defence skills that is taught is realistic and practical and the combat techniques are very sharp and dynamic. I highly recommend Kin Tae Kwon Do to all that want to train hard, improve their fitness and strength or discipline and confidence and just have better health and wellbeing.

    Best thing I've ever done!
    Kin Taekwondo is the perfect school for all ages and abilities. There is an equal focus on skill and fitness, and excellent balance between self-defence and the traditional martial art. The Instructors take the time to get to know each student and work with them one-on-one when needed, and everyone is pushed to the best of their ability. I'm 20 and have been heavily involved in sport all my life, but I have never been physically or mentally healthier than I am since starting at Kin.

    Instructors first class
    My 3 kids (8, 10, 12) have been learning from Ricky, Paul & Jesse (brothers and all black belts) for several years and love it. Exercise, discipline, heirarchy and skills. Highly recommend.

    Highly Recommended For All Ages/Experiences
    I started Kin Tae Kwon Do with no experience in martial art. I have always been active, however I significantly noticed a change in my physical and mental stamina when I joined. The community, instructors and students respect, include and learn from each other, which is something that is hard to find. As a young adult, I would highly recommend this activity for any and all ages. Whether you want to increase your physical fitness, mental discipline or want to try something new, I strongly suggest Kin Tae Kwon Do.

    An awesome experience
    Classes at KinTKD are both very enjoyable and challenging. The instructors are very versatile and skillful, tending to the needs of many different age groups and builds. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at KinTKD not just for the physical benefits, but also for the improved leadership skills and confidence found along the way.

    The 3 brothers run fun and learning classes and the children and adults benifit from them in so many ways. Confidence builds up and they learn to speak out and at the same time are learning skills of self defence.
