At the time he was a kyokoshin student, a style I wasn't too familiar with so I went down to the dojo to see them in training. I instantly liked what I saw and signed up becoming member #45. I enjoyed their method as it's about discipline, pushing yourself to your limit and walking away with a tired but fulfilling outcome. Being a dad these days and having an interest in kyokushin, my family has also adopted an interest in the kyokushin way so it is now a part of our lifestyle thanks to FAFC. I have definitely noticed an improvement in their energy and focus at home and school. Nothing like the intense training at glenroy dojo. Sensei Maria has tons of experience that she love to share to her students,pushing them right to the limit for one purpose only, to be a champion. Training there,make me feel like part of the big family. I love kyoksuhin, it's my way of life n i full fill my needs at Glenroy dojo

Over the years FAFC has provided 100's if not 1000's of people with great life skills that they can continue to expand and use throughout their years. FAFC has a great reputation for winning numerous tournaments and we have world and national champions training along side us as well as teaching us. I would definately recommended this facility to those wishing to take up the fighting lifestyle.

Sensei Maria Gibilisco Rich as the head instructor has multiple titles under her belt including world championships and several national & Victorian titles the students that are coming through the ranks are all following her lead and winning many titles themselves . I wouldn't want to train anywhere else but at Fighting Arts Fitness Centre in Glenroy .

I have since gone on to win several Australian national championships and compete around the world. I have had the pleasure of being able to assist and help teach the next generation of students in the discipline, self-control and respect that is the martial way and have forged several lasting relationships along the way, both within the club and with other clubs and organisations that we work with on a regular basis. Kyokushin karate is not a style of karate but a life-style that stays with you forever with the support from its trainers and members resembling a family more than a club.
