WHAT IS ROLLER DERBY?
Roller derby is one of the world's fastest growing sports. It is played on quad roller skates and in two teams of five skaters on the track at a time. It involves agility, speed, strength and strategy. At the adult competition level, it is a highly skilled, full contact sport. At a junior recreational level, emphasis is on foundation skating skills, team work, fitness and fun, with games being played according to non-contact, modified rules.

Junior Derby are open to both boys and girls of all abilities and include two age groups: 6-10 and 11-16.
Our coaches are experienced skaters from Westside Derby Dollz and all have completed the Australian Sports Commission's General Coaching Principles course, have Working With Children Checks and First Aid certification.
TRAINING LOCATION & TIMES
Classes are held Thursdays 5:30-6:30pm during school terms. Please arrive early to put your gear and skates on.
