    Great for kids

    16-05-2015 by Lance

The classes are full on for an hour which seems about right. A good workout for those looking for fitness and short enough for the younger ones to maintain focus, especially with the variety of activities provided.

A little bit older than most (at 71), I have continues my love of martial arts by joining Goju Ryu some 4 years ago. With a "plastic hip" I have been encourages (and admonished) to perform at the top of my own level and have continued to progress and enjoy the experience. Come and join us.

    Really Good

I couldn't think of a better Dojo to send my kids to. Sensei is dedicated to bringing the best out of his students. His commitment and passion to teach karate is second to none and my kids are better off with his guidance and training.

    Great classes for all ages

My son and I 37 and 7 joined the dojo last year. It is a great way of getting fit and spending time with my son outside of my stressful job which is forgotten when I get to classes! The Sensai is a great teacher who makes the classes tough but fun and extremely good value for money with additional free lessons and training where needed. As a bonus to feeling fitter than I have in a long time, since we started 5 months ago I lost 10 kilos and confidence improved. Thanks Sensai!

I have been training for about 15 yrs and out Sensei has a unique sense of humour that makes sure our classes are never boring. He is tuff and old school but he earns the respect of the kids and they not only get fit but have a laugh too. I joined late in life at age 46 but needed to learn self defence I am now a 61 yr old female and karate has changed my life

    Students experience

    16-03-2016 by Jason

I was looking for a karate class recently, as I enjoyed my karate some years ago. I discovered this class for my 11yr old son and I to attend and have not regretted it. For me it was enjoyable and a good place to gain health and fitness. Besides this, I see a marked improvement in my son's confidence and attention span. We both have a good laugh every time as well (unexpectedly) and look forward to each class. There a great feeling of comradery and appreciation for one another. Though we finish the class physically exhausted, the next day we are fine and are stronger for it.

I have trained with Sensei for approx 17 years and have developed further confidence which has helped me in my career. Sensei has been a great role model and inspiration for myself and many other students. My son has now recently joined and is benefiting from the training obtaining strength and coordination.
