Sam is a great teacher and leader of his team. He is dedicated to his students in seeing them reach their full potential in fencing and encourages them to work hard and compete locally and further afield to gain more experience. He has a love for the sport and has been foundational in establishing the Hunter Fencing Association Incorporated, being involved at the PCYC at Broadmeadow, the Newcastle University and now in heading up the new team at Charlestown. He has done so much to promote the sport and to lift its reputation in the community. Fencing is a brilliant, strategic, physically demanding sport which is also a lot of fun. Don’t be foiled!
