My son just loves camp. The staff are wonderful and very supportive. The giant swing is his favourite. He wants to work there when he grows up.

Our kids love it!

Our kids have gone to Camp Yarramundi every holidays for the past 4 years. They love it. They love the staff and the food. But it is a camp, they do outdoorsy things and they get dirty - it's not a five star hotel. We love that they come home each time with new experiences and new friends, and a new sense of independence. Staff are always helpful and happy to chat during the camp to let us know how the kids are going.

A terrible experience

My son and his friend went to the Yarramundi school holiday camp in July 2013. They both came back quite traumatised by the experience. The kids were forced to undertake activities that they did not want to do despite the literature saying the campers could choose the activities they wanted to participate in. They had to do "Boot Camp" activities and were then penalised because some people in the group played up. There was no hot water and they had to have cold showers in the middle of winter and were housed with several children that they thought appeared to have some social problems. They thought the food was poor with some dishes such as a manufactured chicken dish and powdered egg for breakfast. The cost was expensive for what they received. We sent our son to the camp expecting him to have a pleasant five days but it was far from that. Highly not recommended.
