    Dates: from 02 Nov 2018 to 02 Nov 2018

During the self-portrait workshop, the children will be given an opportunity to create their self-portraits looking in the mirrors and trying to depict the details of their face on paper. When we invite children to create self-portraits, we encourage long, sustained study of their faces. Then we ask them to re-create themselves on paper, weaving together the image that they see in the mirror with the person they experience themselves to be. We will be practicing the observational drawing technique using a black felt tip marker, and revisiting our knowledge of colours, lines and patterns for creating a background using a variety of art media for children to choose from, such as soft pastel, oil pastel, tempera paint, watercolour and collage materials.

    Jasmine's 8th Birthday party

    05-08-2015 by Crystal

The booking process was so easy - even when I kept changing the details Sarah was so professional and nice and kept working it out for us. On the day Victoria arrived early and set-up and got ready so we could welcome the guests and get everyone organised and when they started I was totally shocked as it went really quite! Giggles here and there, but the girls were so amazed at the choice of beads (and later my daughter said she was really happy that the beads looked like the ones on the jewellery at the shops and not baby beads!) Jasmine was so happy! After they were finished the girls were so proud they showed them off with a little show and Victoria gave them all a certificate and little bag with a gift and then all of a sudden Victoria was packed up and saying good-bye and out the door as I got the cake ready! I couldn't believe how easy it was... I really recommend Kids Jewellery Parties to anyone wanting a great easy party.

Angelica's Party was the Most Memorable EVER!

    20-08-2014 by Jessica Gallo

Sarah and her team were so professional. They turned up on time and quietly set-up and then got all the girls together and in a very fun way showed them how to create their very own designs - which were amazing because of the surprisingly high quality of the hundreds of beads. Each guest made 2 pieces that they LOVED and they even had a mini fashion parade at the end which was So Adorable. Sarah and her team gave the girls a certificate and a surprise gift, which we didn't expect. I would recommend Kids Jewellery Parties to anyone and will consider having them again in the future.

    Private cooking lessons

    15-07-2014 by Camilla

“The first thing we need to do is buy a couple of good knives,” Camilla tells me after I’ve contacted her for some cooking lessons for my daughters, ages 12 and 9. As a fine artist, I should know this, and Camilla—who accompanied me on the knife errand—was right: good tools are fundamental (even though the tools Camilla uses are scarier). Then there’s the important issue of learning how to use them, which Camilla brilliantly, patiently tackled with my excited, novice chefs over the course of three two+-hour, semi-private lessons (there were three girls in the class). An exceptional teacher, Camilla possesses a sunny passion about food, which is downright contagious. I’d hoped my girls would acquire some basic skills in the kitchen—and they weren’t the only ones to benefit: I finally learned about good knives and how to chop properly—and as they made their way through Camilla’s inventive, delicious recipes (at the end of each session, I got to taste what they’d made), it became apparent they were gaining so much more. In addition to being enriched with skills and creative ideas, my girls were empowered by the experience. I know we will look back on Camilla’s cooking classes as a turning point opportunity. Camilla will remain a key point of reference for our family as my young chefs branch out into the wonderful, flavorful world ahead them.
