Viva Voice April 2017 Holiday Workshop: Shake Up Shakespeare

Shakespeare's work has been around for years, it's time to shake it up! In this workshop participants willyou’ll explore the classic stories of Shakespeare and reframe them in a modern context. Open to students (Year 7 – 10 )

By using Using storytelling and imagination, students willyou’ll engage in The Bard's work in new ways, connecting the characters and their plights to their own lives. In the workshop we will also explore creative ways of speaking the classic text and using the rhythm of the verse.

Parents, your students will be Ddeveloping skills in voice, classical text, character analysis, storytelling, play building and performance. It all comes together in a short performance on the final day.
