Let's go on an Outback Safari these April school holidays. Grab your safari hat and make your way to The Workshops Rail Museum these school holidays for hands-on animal themed activities and the exciting new exhibition A Room for Wild Animals. From 1 to 17 April, young visitors can create their own binoculars, try their hand at colouring and collage, and follow animal tracks through the Museum. Outback Safari is packed full of things for the whole family to see and do: • Colour and collage your favourite Australian animal • Create your own wild animal pencil topper • Make binoculars to take with you on safari • Follow the animal tracks through the Museum • Spot the wild animals in the A Room for Wild Animals exhibition • Let off steam in the indoor playground Nippers Railway • Explore 15 larger-than-life exhibits including beautifully restored carriages, steam trains and the largest model railway of scenic Queensland So grab your safari hat and start exploring! Travel through Brisbane on a historic steam train and relive the splendour of a bygone era, passing through city stations on your journey aboard vintage carriages.
