Experience extraordinary visual theatre, set in a wondrous tinkering heaven! Take a journey to an eccentric place where gadgets are poetic, puppets are naughty, machines untamed and circus tricks pop-up when you’re least expecting it! Developed and performed by Paris-trained, multi-disciplinary circus artist and quirkologist Jens Altheimer, Loose Ends features contraptions, tricks and quirky characters. Familiar household items are transformed and given surprising new uses, offering a humorous and human look at the world that surrounds us. Rich in visual variety, audiences will be stunned by the contraptions coming to life before their very eyes in this curious world. Loose Ends is about friendship, acceptance and loyalty. There’s plenty of entertainment with a dose of emotion in a story about a man who thinks he can organise all his life in boxes… well, he’ll have to learn a big thing about real friendships. This breathtaking show is highly visual, emotional and unpredictable. It makes inventions and machines fun and adds a few quirky edges to puppetry. Bookings essential! Wrist bands MUST be worn for entry into the session. Parents/ Carers over 18 years of age must accompany and supervise children at all times. Accompanying Parents/ Carers must book and pay for their own ticket. Adults at Kids prices. Babies and Toddlers up to 2 years of age are Free Entry - if not occupying a seat. Late comers will be admitted at a suitable break in the performance. The Ipswich Art Gallery will not refund or exchange any tickets except as required by law. If you are unable to attend your booked session you may transfer your e-ticket to another party to use.

Activities include: School Holiday Classes; Birthday Parties and After School Projects School Holiday Classes Send your child along to join in the creative fun at Banjos Bead House. A variety of projects are on offer for children from age 6 to 12 or teenagers. Within a safe and creative environment children can learn basic beading and sewing skills to make jewellery or gifts. They’ll complete at least two or three projects, giving them a sense of satisfaction every time. They also get to take home their beautiful creations to share with friends and family or to save as gifts for Christmas or birthdays. We have a wide project range and classes are small, individualised and run by our professional bead and craft teachers. We supply all of the materials and tools needed for the class, as well as morning or afternoon tea. You can book for one or a number of classes. School Holiday Class program: 1 hour program 10.30 - 11.30, 11.30 - 12.30, 1.00 - 2.00, 2.00 - 3.00 or 3.00 - 4.00 2 hour program 9.30am - 11.30am or 1.00pm - 3.00pm - $35 per child 3 hour program: 9.30am - 12.30pm or 1.00pm - 4.00pm - $45 per child Full day 9.30am - 4.00pm - $90 per child.
