The Sydney Emeralds Synchro club is the largest synchronised swimming club in New South Wales. Training sessions are held at various locations in Sydney - CBD and North Sydney
The Sydney Emeralds’ goal is to develop synchronised swimming at every level from beginners to elite athletes, and at every age, from 4 years old to Masters Swimmers.

Learn To Synchro:
This program offers girls and women of all ages to learn the basics of the sport. Learn To Synchro swimmers will practice synchro skills, learn basic routines and develop an understanding of the synchro theory.
- Beginners- under 12 years old
- Junior recreational- 13-17 years old
- Adult recreational- over 18 years old

Competitive Program:
This program offers girls an opportunity to advance their synchro skills, to swim advanced routines and aim for competing nationally and internationally.

We strive to provide our swimmers with the opportunity to achieve their personal best as individuals, athletes and team members in a club environment which values respect, dedication and sportsmanship.

    Fabulous trainers great team spirit
    My 10 yo daughter fell into the 'don't like sport' category until we found Emeralds. Now at 11 she is keen to spend six hours a week training for the competitive stream. This is sport disguised as fun but also builds strength, fitness, flexibility, commitment and team spirit. Emeralds has a lovely culture too with highly committed, creative and competent teachers providing lots of encouragement.

    It's an OLYMPIC SPORT!
    If you're curious to see the sport at its top level in action, watch it at the upcoming Olympic Games in RIO! Australia will be sending a team. Sydney Emeralds is one of the longest lasting clubs in Australia and continues to thrive and produce smiling athletes! It was my first club which gave me my solid base of training. I am now on the national team and will NEVER forget all the memorable lessons I learnt from the emeralds!

    Fabulous team sport
    An amazing team sport that ticks all the boxes. My daughter loves the water and has so much fun. The club encourage teamwork amongst the girls, stamina and fitness. For the smaller ones watching the bigger girls perform is something to aspire to. Great sport for fitness and self esteem. Sydney emerald are a welcoming club to be part of. Highly recommend.

    Be part of an amazing and friendly community!
    We have recently built a big base of beginners and pre-competitive groups with lots of enthusiastic and lovely girls between the ages of 5-8, 8-12 and above 12. The girls love performing in a group and they enjoy being part of the team. Apart from that they learn how to build confidence and dignity which are very important as well. This sport doesn't only provide with consistent exercise but as a team sport also teaches them respect and how to develop relationships. I noticed that not only the girls but the parents (actually the whole family) also become part of the community and enjoy a nice BBQ on the beach together at Christmas time for instance. I love teaching at this club not because it has a sound strategy for how to develop as a club but most importantly because we discuss with every girl individually about their goals and expectations and provide with personal development path if they want to be competitive for example. And we are just having so much fun all the time this is an amazing group of people, the girls, parents and my coach fellows all together.

    This sport needs strength as well as flexibility. It also helps built team spirit as you train with other's your level as well as creating endless inside jokes and having a great time. I have done for 5 years and if you want to combine music, dance and swimming this is the sport. Come for a trial and recommend it to anyone you think will be interested.

    Wanna try dancing in the water?
    Do any of you even know what synchronised swimming is? It's time to find out! I've done it for about five years, and so far no sport has has surpassed it in my opinion. If you enjoy either music, swimming or dancing, come and try out! Everybody in the club is tightly-knit and very good friends. I, myself have made many friends, from whom I'm inseparable from. So come, and I'm sure you'll have more fun than you'll imagine!

    What a fantastic and different this sport is!
    Synchronised swimming is quickly growing in popularity in Australia. It gives girls and women of all ages an opportunity to do something fun and quite artistic, improve and work on their fitness, make friends and lots more.. Even represent Australia at the Olympics if one aspires to take such path. The club supports all, whether one wants to be a recreational swimmer or take it to the elite athlete level. There are a number of enthusiastic, highly qualified and experienced Sydney Emeralds coaches ready for you! So why don't YOU give it a try?

    Awesome Sport! :)
    My favourite hobbies since young were swimming and dance. Synchronised swimming is the best combination of both the strength of swimming and the elegance of dance. I am glad that I had the opportunity of trying out this sport 8 years ago as an adult and thanks to Sydney Emeralds, I have become addicted to this awesome sport! :)

    Fantastic sport!
    My daughter has been doing synchro for three years now, and absolutely loves it. It is a great combination of dancing and swimming, both of which she also loves. In the time she has been doing it her self-confidence has improved, as well as her fitness and pride in how she conducts herself. I would recommend it to anyone.
