Description
Art Classes are currently available in person at Mornington, Victoria. I offer weekly art classes for children and adults, school holiday workshops, art parties, event hire, team building and painting for groups for all occasions. Events can be booked at Mornington, I can also offer an online or mobile service to work with you at your location. Just email me your requirements.

I have been painting for over 20 years, much of that time includes teaching painting to others, which is my passion. My painting styles are numerous and include fine detailed work to creative and colourful abstracts. My teaching reflects this. I enjoy the flexibility of painting with acrylics, using texture, collage and exploring various mixed media works. I appreciate all forms of art and believe my journey with art is ongoing in respect to discovering more about myself and the direction I am heading which incorporates helping others.

My mission is to inspire, educate, empower & uplift people through art. I believe art & colour play an important role in our lives. I work with children and adults to help them create the visions of their dreams. My motto is Anyone Can Paint, no skills are required. Where there's a will, there's a way. All classes are taught step by step, in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. Art is an excellent outlet for anyone, including adults and children, interested in moving their life forward in a positive and fun way, including developing new skills. I thoroughly enjoy sharing what I know with people and feel the creative process of art is available for anyone to discover. Over the years I have been fortunate to work with many students of all ages, (from 4 yo to adult) many to win awards, further arts study and/or to become selling artists.

What Your Child Will Do and Learn:

Your child will get to choose what they would like to learn. This could be anime or any other style they like. A general drawing class suitable for kids wishing to develop their drawing techniques, whether that be traditional drawing or anime style. The tutor will work with each person individually. They may also explore other mediums throughout the term, which will be discussed with the group.

Meet like-minded kids and have fun improving your drawing skills.

Each week they will expand their skills and creativity. They will be encouraged to use their imagination and incorporate decision making and self-expression.

All children are encouraged to choose the subject they wish to paint, they are then
taught the process from start to finish to complete their artwork. Children are guided and instructed to achieve the best result for themselves, learning techniques, colour mixing, composition, brush care, social skills, responsibility plus loads more.

This allows the student to be free and creative, also to enjoy what they are painting, whilst developing decision making skills, and building self-belief and esteem, this enables them to gain personal growth.

A basic materials list is required, children work with acrylic paints on canvas.

My teaching style has aided me many students of all ages, (from 5 yo to adult) many to win awards, further arts study and/or to become selling artists.
