Kids Up Front are experts in running Drama Classes and Performing Arts Holiday Camps having done so for over 20 years in Australia and New Zealand. We offer fun and dynamic drama programs for children to develop confidence, performance skills, communication and creativity as well as having a lot of fun! Kids Up Front run after school drama classes for children throughout the North Shore, Ryde, Inner West and Hills District in Sydney. Our after school drama lessons for junior students (Kindy/Prep to Year 2) participate in a themed lesson performed for each other each week. Our senior students (Year 3 +) develop performance skills in the first half of the year through improvisation drama games and scene work. In the second half of the year they collaborate with their teacher on a group devised piece to be performed at a real theatre. For many of our students this is the highlight of their year as they shine on stage in front of a live audience. Working together in drama means listening to each other and accepting and extending each others ideas thus helping children develop good social skills and confidence in presenting their own ideas. Developing confidence, creativity and communication skills are very important life skills whatever path in life they choose to take. Bop till you Drop have been running school holiday workshops in various locations around Australia for the past 16 years, with a focus on developing children's self confidence through singing, dancing and acting in a 2-day intensive Performing Arts Workshop. This unique program is now being offered in Hawthorn, Highett, Geelong West, Camberwell and Airport West each January, April, July and September. The workshop is suitable for boys and girls aged 5 - 12 years with any or no previous training who have an interest in performing or would like to gain some self-confidence. Our aim is to provide a fun, but educational experience for children. We encourage them to be part of the creative process, allowing them to feel important and proud of who they are. They will enjoy rotating classes over the 2 day program which are run by professional entertainers, to improve their singing, dancing and acting skills. We also include additional classes such as science, arts and craft, team challenges and self-motivation. They will perform a mini-concert on the second day to family and friends to showcase their new found talents. Children can be grouped with siblings and friends if they like.
