Improv is a whole lot of fun and the perfect way to kick off the weekend! Students will explore the basic principles of improvisation in a fun, creative and supportive environment. Improv is perfect for exploring creativity, supporting social skills, and building confidence. No previous acting experience required, it is a low-stress introduction to acting while also a great tool for the budding actor. Over the 8-week term, students will be introduced to the basic tenets of improvisation such as: - Agreement - Creating characters - Building fantastical worlds - Working together with other actors - Storytelling The course runs for 8 weeks every Saturday morning. Friends and family are invited to attend a portion of the final class where the students will share what they have learned. This class is for students who are currently in grades 1 through 6. Meet your teacher Ben Snaith! Ben Snaith is a performer with a wide range of experience. He has worked as a touring independent musician, theatre maker, short film maker, performance artist and improviser, getting up in front of audiences for over a decade. Ben is also an enthusiastic educator, completing a Bachelor of Education (Prep-Yr 12) with an Upper Years major in Performing Arts. He has also spent the last 4 years as a kindergarten teacher. Taking a break from full time teaching, Ben is excited to facilitate Primary and Secondary-aged classes in Improv and Performance for Big Fork Theatre.

Come along and join in our sword classes for Highschoolers aged 12-17. Classes will run Fridays 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Check out our website for more information! In these classes, students will develop self-discipline, respect, and focus through learning the base techniques, virtues, and philosophies of the sword. Whether your child wants to learn the sword to go into competitions, develop their control or simply learn a new skill, they will be engaged in activities that will develop all of these and more! Class will include warm ups, sword skills, and drills, forms, as well as competition focused training.

Our tours are where you are able to see the farm in action and personally meet all 12 animals. Each of our tours are unique, ‘hands on’, and enjoyable. Group discounts available for 4 (depending on the tour) or more people. All tours are available 6 days per week (Mon – Sat). The weekend is coming and the kids need something to do so why not come out and visit us? The Monthly Open Farm Event occurs on the second Saturday of each month from 9am till 12pm. Bring along your family, friends, a picnic rug/chair for a great morning out on the farm! What you’ll experience: - Do the animal walk to meet our pigs, sheep, alpaca, goats, cow, donkeys, turkeys - Have guinea pig cuddles - Hold a silky chicken - Bounce on the Jumping Castle - Ride in the wagon towed by our tractor Other activities on the day at additional cost are: - Pony Rides ($5) - Rabbits Encounters ($5) - Coffee Van (hot and cold) - BBQ & Drinks ($2) - Chips, popcorn, zooper-doopers ($1) The cost is $13pp (or $44 per group of 4) and runs from 9am to 12pm.
